If a green book is lost, is it possible to get a replacement?

It is first step you have to report the lost officially at your police station. If everything is alright they will issue a confirmation of this; with this confirmation you can go to your DLT and apply for a new book. However there must be some proof that you are the real owner.

If your bike is recent and you bought it through an official dealer they will do it for you but expect a six month wait.

I did as Hili mentioned a few weeks ago.

Just get a police report and go to the DLT with your regular forms of ID.

From memory it only took about an hour and a new one was issued on the spot.

All in all, a pretty painless thing really.
