BuyerBeware! Inventa RO Water Filtration Systems

Featured Replies

This topic has not come up recently. I've no problems with the equipment...once it is assembled correctly.

The problem is that parts are not well labeled and after getting the life out of one system and buying a replacement, I now can't even find a contact for the manufacturer, which looks to be "Inventa."

The problems are store staff trying to "save face" yet knowing that in yet a second store the unit has not been assembled so as to function properly.

Bought mine at Home Pro, paid them 500 baht to install, and 600 every 90 days to service.

Thanks for the quick suggestion. Which city?

Did you buy a similar unit? Is there a valid email address for the store whose tech person you trust?

I'm hours from any city large enough for a Home Pro...
Any discussion of home service would be far higher.
We did pay the "local" store 500 baht to install, fat chance of getting that back for bad servicing.

Mine was a Clarte, but I swear it looks exactly like yours. Probably just a different name stuck on it, and that might be why the contact is no longer valid.

It was a few years ago in Chiang Mai. It's sitting in a box now.

Try contacting Clarte, maybe they can help. Parts and filters are possibly interchangeable. Also, you might stop in a Home Pro and pay a tech to come out in his off time to take a look.

Ours is a Filtex very similar to the Clarte http://www.clartethailand.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=cat_show_pro_detail&cid=12935&pid=658876

Came fully assembled in the box so nothing to get really wrong, 4 pipes, fit the filters and the membrane, plug in, good to go.
