I am both perplexed and outraged that despite the apocalyptic specter of global warming Manchester United have entered into a wholly fiduciary agreement to sponsor a fossil fuel burning abomination such as Chevrolet/General Motors. I am burning up with ire and indignation.wai2.gif

I'm outraged that anyone who works in the oil industry can whinge about use of its cash to pay our impoverished football orphans.

It breaks my heart so it does.....

Steady jelly. This is mine. I did try briefly try and find a more economical version than a 5.8L but at about 10 quid to fill it up, quite frankly I don't give a Rats tongue.png

A beautiful beast she is MrB, and I'm sure bright enough to detect a tongue firmly placed in cheek.wink.png

Must admit, I love the car. Had it about 4 years now and only done 45,000km, still like new inside and out but I might treat myself to the new shape when it comes out later this year or early next year.

Manchester Dhabi are the filthy plaything of an immoral and pampered Arab thief.

Discuss.

I think they might come second in the Prem mind.

Bloody expensive though Bob.

Even a crap one from Korat costs more than I can afford.

Must be sentimental value.

And you would need your spine realigned and retinas reattached after 12 months #bone-rattler

I get a late '70s Land Cruiser troop carrier, a bit cheaper and easier to drive, but loads of fun.

Here's a phrase you haven't heard before:

REPUTATION LAUNDERING

Reports about torture and abuse in the United Arab Emirates of British nationals, including a former bodyguard of the mother of the crown prince of Abu Dhabi whose half- brother was caught on video several years ago brutally torturing a business associate, raises the specter of high profile Gulf acquisitions and sponsorships of European football clubs serving as a form of reputation laundering.

They've even tortured British nationals. The scum.

And Manchester Dhabi fans witlessly cheer them on.

Suggest you take it up with a higher authority chicog.

Dumping grief on City football fans is out of order.

Campaign at the correct level. Do not even attempt to dump guilt on fans in the stands who pays their money and follow their team faithfully.
