Nida Poll shows 41 percent doubt Ms Yingluck will return within schedule

Hopefully the good General has told Yingluck that if she doesn't return on the due date that her and her son and brother's passports will be revoked. Then she will illegally be in USA or UK or France without a valid passport or visa and then have to report to the nearest Thai Embassy to be repatriated. Without a valid passport she won't be able to fly to Dubai or Montenegro to get a new one.

Her brother will supply her with a new passport in no time, either Montenegro or Nigeria.

Besides I think, it is a good idea to keep them out of Thailand. Even if they would arrest Thaksin during travelling by issuing an international warrant, after completing his jail time, he would steer up unrest again. A good idea to keep them out of the country, and let them eat dust in Dubai, which is not a member state of the Interpol.

Who cares? We'll see if she returns or not, and wait for the debacled forum posts.

A poll on Thais is about as reliable as Thai bog-roll perforations meeting in a line between both layers when you snap one off.

YL's bog roll sheets are reliable - they're made by Burberry and imported from Paris. Scented, too - Chanel No.5, with embossed pretty pink tulips.

I have an idea how the embossing may be done, but I wont say it here.

Let me guess. It involves pretty pink tulips?

Says a lot that you can't manage the simple task of unrolling tissue paper properly but you can separate the two attached layers of one piece without difficulty and then complain about your own ineptitude.

She seems to be always just with her son. What has happened to her husband?

Rumor has it he was irked that his "wife" was caught in a compromising position in an executive suite with a youngish, handsome and mega rich property developer at the 4 seasons hotel while she was supposed to be attending parliament. His mood soured further after the witness to the amorous encounter was brutally murdered to stop him recounting what he saw. Every man's patience has its limit.

I completely missed that about the witness's demise.

After the coup she appeared in Chiang Mai/San Kampang, and was often escorted by others, but never with her hubby. I think jaidam pretty well hit the nail on the head. When I mentioned this to my Thai wife, she got all excited and said she's seen the business man from the hotel and that he is "very handsome & sexy", and much better than the current hubby. tongue.png

She is wealthy and facing many charges, she would be crazy to come back. She can live in luxury with her brother.

But can she live with her conscience?

Silly me, thinking a Shinawatra has morals, principles, ethics, common decency or conscience!! sick.gif

I would think that those people in high places who have had their pockets lined by the Shins will be hoping that she disappears overseas soon before she spills the beans.

Many apologies if this link is not permitted. Here, from voice tv(a Shinawatra company which should be authoritative on all aspects regarding the cult family) is an article that states that Yingluck's husband is called Sretta Taveesin. This is the mystery 4 season man. Not surprised her official "husband" Anusorn Amornrat has not been seen with her. Rather a complicated web.

http://news.voicetv.co.th/thailand/74791.html

Interestingly, seems he is related to the one and only Nalinee Taveesin, the hugely embarrasing and visible link to the Shins and the other champions of the poor, the Mugabes.

Slow poll day!

My guess is that the purpose of the poll, aside from public interest, is likely to establish the odds on a return/no return bet with any of the bookies or any of the casinos that do not exist

I would suggest that if the passport of the recently deposed democratically elected prime minister of a country now ruled by a junta who seized power in a military coup, were to be revoked by said junta, then neither France, the USA or the UK, nor indeed any other democratic country in the world would regard said ex prime minister as being in any sense illegal!

Codswallop.

It didn't help Thaksin much did it?

He was rejected by the UK.

If she is a proven criminal on the run and tries to use other countries to hide, then it is quite possible she will equally be rejected.

Obviously there is a shortlist of countries specifically for the criminals who have oodles of money.

These countries are happy to allow them, but are not protecting them, they want their money.

The EU, the U.S and Australia do not recognise the junta and it is my guess that they will look after her. It is the Junta they see as illegal and not Yingluk.

The anti government movement wanted her expelled from the country and they should be over the moon if she doesn't come back.

Many folks would retort that they don't care whether the EU, US and Australia recognize or don't recognize the junta.
