Currency Conversion Advice Needed

Featured Replies

Let's say I have 500 USD. How & Where do I convert to Baht? Or should I carry a prepaid card? I can not find a prepaid card in BAHT currency.

Any details about which currency to carry, in what mode to carry and how to convert will be helpful.

thanks.

Carry the 500 dollars in cash and change them in Bangkok.

I'm sure that there is no such thing as a prepaid card in Baht! Just get a prepaid card and use ti at atms.

As far as I can tell, the two options with the best currency exchange rates are:

1. Change $500 USD into thb at either Suprerrich or VASU in Bangkok.

2. Leave the $500 USD in your bank account (if you have a bank that reimburses ATM fees) and withdraw the thb equivalent from a bank ATM upon arrival.

Just read your other thread saying you want to travel to bangkok for a week of cheap sex with non asian hookers. Maybe they accept cash usd?

Bring 100 usd bills as they get a better exchange rate than 10's or 20's...
