What would be the best way to advertise jobs for Thai people living in Sydney?

Featured Replies

I've had a lot of great Thai employees before, but all of my Thai contacts and friends have gone back to Thailand.

Is there a good forum or language school or something in Sydney that I could contact to post job offers?

Cheers!

you will need to do it word of mouth as any advertising cannot specify thai people only or you are breaking the law unfortunately. Might pay to get in touch with the thai community and let them know what you are after.

Advertise as you normally would but emphasise "fleunt thai" required in the job description, that will knock out all the others, usually.

I would recommend going to the areas/districts where Thais live and post some info on local bulletin boards eg. laundromats, thai food shops, community center, wat.

Just go to the inner city unis and pin up notices in the appropriate places.

Word will get around in the Thai community.

As CharlieH says, <<"fleunt thai" required in the job description>>. Cheers, AA
