I went to the bank to get my bank statements but they just printed them off for me and do not include the Halifax letterhead they did stamp the first page with a Halifax stamp will these be accepted when I apply for ILR?

Probably, but to be sure I'd go back and get them to stamp all the pages.

Are you using them just as evidence of finances, or as evidence of cohabitation as well.

If using them as evidence of cohabitation, they'll need to have your name and address on them.

Thank you for the reply It does have my name and address so I shall use it to show cohabitation I will take them back to the bank and get them stamped on every page.

May I ask the application form asks about when you first meet I can not remember the exact date apart from the year do you think that this will really matter no remembering the exact date?

I wouldn't be too concerned about the actual date, an approximation should be fine as long as it's pretty close, maybe even the month and year, they just need to be satisfied that you have met and that if you have it wasn't just a couple of weeks ago.
