Black metal gas pipe where?

Featured Replies

In Bangkok. I need to locate black metal gas pipe cut to size, they have threading machine, and they have fittings. I showed pictures on Google images of fittings and pipe to many motocy drivers, but no one knows.

Any ideas?

Replace with copper. No real need for steel pipe for any domestic application.

Oh, thanks! I should have mentioned that I use it for hobbies, not gas. The look is what I am after.

A lot of the small hardware stores throughout Bangkok have galvanised pipe where they cut and thread the pipe and have all the fittings

I've seen those though forget where they are and the motocy guys don't know even with pictures. Galvanized is the wrong look here though. This is for hobby, not building. Forgot to mention that.

The metal fabrication shop in the small town near me has it and he will also cut to size and thread it. I'd find a place that sells pipe and ask. I've pought the black pipe many times for making clothes stands..

Thai Watsudu, DoHome, or almost any steel supply shops have it.
