Nikon Wireless Adapter

Featured Replies

Hello, professional photographers!

A newbie here...

I was wondering where I could buy the Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter for Nikon Digital SLRs in Bangkok and its price. I want to use it for my entry level DSLR; Nikon D5200.

Any experience using this device? Are there other options for shooting remotely?

Thank you in advance.

You could tether via USB and use Nikon camera control software, buy a (wired) remote shutter cable release or buy an infrared remote that only works when your in front of the camera.

Glad you brought this up TBH I assumed the 7100 had WiFi built in, after a quick read like the 5200 it doesn't.

I cant give you advice on where to buy it or is it's any good.

If you look through the photography threads of questions asking where to buy X, you will see the same shop come up pretty often, I would guess to look there, the member who recommends it knows his stuff...possibly it's member fractured rabbit, I get some peoples names mixed up. facepalm.gif

If you do buy it please post us a review here, if you would be so kind.

@goshawk
Thanks

@rhythmworks
I'd like to use something wireless
It's quite a risk if someone trips over the wire.
Will try MBK

Thanks, @sunshine51
I'll also try the IR remote. It looks more simple to use
