Cost of Nose Surgery in Thailand

Featured Replies

I am planning to have Nose surgery in Thailand as my nose needs to be done due to car accident. I was referred by a medical tourism named PlacidWay to a Clinic in Thailand named Nirunda. When i asked for a quote they said it ranges from $1,000 - $4, 000 USD. What do you think about te price? For me it's reasonable but if there's more cheaper center or package you know i would really appreciate if you will share it here.

Difficult to say as we don't know what needs doing. My DIL went to Yanhee International Hospital to have what I thought was an unnecessary job done. ฿17 000.-. In and out without appointment in 4 hours. Looked like a good place to get it done, but maybe there is a Farang price also. Why not just turn up there and get an offer? No skin off my nose...

The cost is very much going to depend upon what needs to be done which in turn depends upon the nature of the damage.

I would strongly advice against (1) letting a medical tourism outfit select your doctor or facility and (2) having this done in a a stand alone clinic as opposed to a hospital.

From what you describe it will be important to have a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in maxiliofacial.

Suggest one of these:

Dr. Prasert Punpromthada at Sikarin Hospital, which is located not far from the airport and very reasonable in price http://www.sikarinaesthetic.com/doctor1_en.php

Dr. Pramote Manurangsee at Yanhee Hosp http://www.yanhee.net/doctor/Dr.%20Pramote%20Manurangsee

The first will be less expensive than the second but may prove a little hard to get a consultation via email. With Yanhee Hosp, they have a system in place for that with online form you fill out, attach pictures etc, based on that they will tell you what procedure they advise and the cost. Sikarin will usually be about 1/3 tthe cost for same procedure.
