Ah John,

So good to hear from you again.

Just one thing-it did not start with the phone issue. That was just one on a list of inconsistencies that many were already confused about and concerned by.

Oooh look, here's one big glaring one right now:-

Here is today's interview of a policeman and a police pathologist by Sorayud on Channel 3 where a police pathologist definitively confirms the presence of an as yet unidentified third suspect's DNA on Hannah's body.

"The pathologist said that DNA of B and a third person C was found on Hannah's nipples. The third person was not David. The policeman didn't explain who the police thought C was or how he came to deposit his DNA on Hannah's nipples."

(info originally shared by Dogmatix on #265 on http://www.thaivisa....spects/page-11)

All guilty should be found and brought to justice. The two should not take all the fall for an absent third . Noone who values justice can disagree with that, not even you I imagine.

Right im with you now buddy, clear as a bell that. I just didnt get the part where he said nong foc gang putt, be teer ram pan pop tee. If you see what i mean.

How deeply can lies run with the bib ?

Staggering the amount of hogwash. Staggering.

The Thai police claimed that the DNA samples from the two men matched the DNA samples found on Witheridge's body. The police obtained DNA samples from 200 men residing and working at the island and the majority of them were taken from Myanmar migrant workers.

However, the police earlier announced that the DNA testing did not match with the samples found on the British lady. Then, the police announced that the two Myanmar workers admitted to the murder and abruptly announced that the DNA samples from the two men matched the DNA samples found on Witheridge's body.

Amateur Sherlocks are doing more harm than good.

Surely evidence is to be discussed in court. Bandying about rumours and speculation is just tittle-tattle?

The real issues that need to be discussed and highlighted must surely be the matters concerning methods and procedures used?

You do understand if they plead guilty there will not be a 'day in court' as you imagine, they will be convicted. Once the court has passed judgement it is then against the law to criticize. Now do you understand why the rush to get into court?

Without people asking and pointing out the many, many discrepancies in this story, the two accused would already be convicted and sentenced.

Those with no knowledge of the reasonable doubt that exists will applaud this and carry on living like mushrooms, while those who fear a miscarriage of justice will be shocked and associate this country with corruption - at the highest level - forever.

That leaves people like yourself. You applaud the police but ignore the many, many questions being asked. Worse than a mushroom, as you cannot later claim you were unaware - so actually you are just apathetic but determined everyone else should be too. A bit mixed in your messages.

After reading the Bangkok post today it seems the Burmese embassy officials and the 4 human rights defenders who met with the police officials yesterday and were satisfied with the explanation of the evidence against the accused are part of the conspiracy too.

Posted

Does logical and provable explanations mean anything to the conspiracy nuts? This is what it all started with a phone that police not only allowed the press to take pictures of in the first day of the investigations and stated they had but one they passed off to the family weeks ago and witnessed by UK Embassy people. Yea, it makes the conspiracy goes all the way to the UK where they stole the phone back and planted it at the suspects location last week and just forgot the press and UK authorities and parents knew they returned her phone.

Well this is what started all the conspiracy talk on Facebook. So, it clearly will be hard to drop for some but others will talk about missing video that makes no sense either. The police release video of a suspect go and coming from around the crime scene in hopes of getting the suspect identified but now they claim their is missing video and they want to know who is in those frames. Yet there is not 2-minutes missing there is many many many hours missing. The police release what they wanted to achieve what the wanted from the public and that is identifying the one person in the video coming and going.

All this because folks wanted it to be a rich Thai and because they mistrust the police. Wake up folks, even a liar sometimes tells the truth and the case they are turning over to the courts for their lawyers to defend looks pretty open and shut. Witnesses (including their friends), video, physical evidence at their place, confessions and DNA. And this is just what has come out as none of us has seen police reports or autopsy reports ... but lets no let the Facebook forensic team tell us the cause of death, murder weapon and sequence of blows and if the person was left or right handed and if the injuries were before or after death by using low res images they don't know the exact timing of when they were taken or what may have changed such as blood being wiped away inadvertently or on purpose. How stupid they even do autopsies or go out to crime scenes when a simple photo can tell a laymen so much.

We will all surely hear if they tell their lawyers they are innocent and were forced to confess and reenact the crime ... as well, lawyers will certainly retest their DNA if they have any doubt.

But why talk logic with folks who simply want to believe things like Elvis is still alive ... well actually that has more probability.

You are right, but you forgot one important point, and that is the justifiable mistrust against the police, both among Thais and foreigners. The police here are certainly capable of doing a coverup and has probably done it frequently, ref Blue Diamond case. I don't think this is a cover up, as the consequences would be too severe too justify the protection of a petty family accused of being involved in mafia activities. However, since it's the Thai police you can never be sure, even with DNA, video and confessi

Mr.Mason there are/were too many inconsistencies in the case, in fact a plethora of them. For example, the male victim was not killed by the hoe, but by an alternate weapon. There are wounds all about his head to indicate that and do not match those used by a hoe, sorry to say There is too much left -out and not explained at all...until later on; which ample time is given for it to be scripted to fit. It is possible that the two Burmese were used to assist in the crime, but it does seem likely that there is a third missing; speculation but it does seem to be probable. The attack on the woman seems almost personal-vicious and hate-filled.

Oooops... caught again.... http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/three-migrant-workers-confess-rape-murder-british-tourists/

Earlier in the day, Mr. Mark Kent, the British ambassador to Thailand, paid a formal visit to Pol. Gen. Somyos Phumphanmuang at the Royal Thai Police headquarters to personally congratulate him on being promoted to the post of commissioner of the Royal Thai Police.

While there, he was given updates in the developments of the murder case and expressed his satisfaction on how the case was being handled and his government would not interfere in any way with the investigation. Mr. Kent went on to praise the Royal Thai Police in solving the case and have shown exemplary professionalism as a crime fighting unit.

The British Ambassador later said “Thailand and the UK have always mutually helped each other in the past and the cooperation has always benefitted both countries. This new development reaffirms our confidence in both our countries abilities.

Forget about the phone. It's all the other stuff.

Mostly, how did they do it? By themselves.

Why does the hoe not have David dna?

Because he wasn't bludgeoned with hoe , only the girl was killed with the hoe .

Looked more like she was shot then mutilated with the hoe afterwards.

Question is......why?

"Pol.Col. Prachum Ruengthong, a top officer in charge of Koh Tao, explained yesterday that there was a misunderstanding." Right, that's that sorted then. But as I understand it, the UK is holding samples of the DNA found at the crime scene? If that's so then this now becomes simple as a human rights organization has appointed the two accused a lawyer. All the lawyer needs to do is get DNA from the accused and send that to the UK for independent analysis. I'm still wondering why the police are not looking for the 3rd unidentified person who's DNA was found on Hannah.

He states in the interview that they had taken DNA previously from one of the accused and as he worked at AC2 it was in his words Kept and waiting in a queue as they were pushing for samples taken from people close to the scene to be done first.

I have had major doubts as to the way the investigation was being done and I feel many mistakes were made. The explanation of many things in this interview go a long way in showing there was method in the investigation. It also shows the workers from Myanmar as real suspects they had two trips for purchasing beer, they have a till slip showing them buying LM red cigs, They were drunk and in the very near vicinity of the crime. It still seems unbelievable that they would have such anger to bludgeon David and Hannah in such a way if their only motive was to rape Hannah. Also for me still big questions about how they dragged David to the sea and still managed to keep Hannah close.

"Commentators on social media accused the police of falsely implicating the two Burmese workers..."

Ooh, that pesky social media again! Maybe we should shut it all down and make everyone use a Thai Weibo.

On the good side, nearly 40K people have signed the petition on change.org. Hopefully the FO will take charge of this and not the ambassador to Thailand.

it is impossible to know who the 3rd persons DNA is until they find that person, and until every SUSPECT gives their DNA samples conspiracy and cover up's will always play a big part in it.

I don't believe he's a copper.

Isn't there a law against impersonating a police officer.

So I hope this has answered your question and that this subject is now done, or do you want me go digging through your post history ?

So in summary your a liar and a Walt...

you want to go digging through my posts knock yourself out, I have never attempted to represent myself on TV as something I am not..

unlike the RTP, I got nothing to hide.

But seeing as you shown yourself to be such a convincing Walt my I humbly suggest you volunteer to join TVP, looks like it would be a match made in heaven, you can live out your fantasies...wink.png

OK, I will answer your question.

I have a vested interest since I'm one of the people in charge of this investigation. So next, in my capacity as a police officer, I gonna ask Thaivisa for your IP address to sue you for defaming my department.

Was that the answer you were looking for ?

Luckily another member has discovered the whereabouts of Sean, not sure if the BIB are aware of it already.

So, a policeman, poking fun at his own reenactment and wondering if the BIB are aware of things. A time waster with grand delusions, and a long time member of my ignore list. Please stop feeding his childish fantasies so I don't have to read his garbage by mistake... There are more such posts, he even insists 3 people were responsible for this crime, so many posts - I couldn't be bothered.

The reputation that the Royal Thai police has and all negative consequences attached to that are only to blame on the Royal Thai police itself. Trying to shut up people trying to tell the truth will only enforce this feeling.

You are correct, after reading your post again I admit I went off on a bit of a tangent. Apology given. wai.gif

My only real point was that there will not be a show & tell trial; more likely they will be whisked in and out with a guilty plea accepted. No chance then of disputing evidence, or criticizing the court.

Perhaps I am wrong but that is the impression I have of the process. If they change their plea they will get that day.

The most important thing is that the person who committed these crimes is not out there to kill again!

Is that a statement of fact or an assumption? There was more than one person, even three.

Posted

Yep, that's right guilty plea, no trial. Just sign the papers ,and sentence is given.

People do say they are guilty when not as they would then not be given a death sentence. They must choose. Life with possibility of parole.

Or trust .the Thai justice system and risk the death sentence.

They are 21 years old, with the first plea , even if innocent at least they would be out when they are 60.
