Does this actually say "I have instructed other INMATES to monitor the two Burmese men"???

I....

wow...

utterly speechless...

You shouldn't be. There are many trustees in the Thai prisons.

The point that he made the statement that he fears the Burmese might self harm and he is prepared to leave them in general population sends out another story.

Obviously depending on how you interrupt the message.....................wink.png

Sorry about that TYPO ..I think he meant I have instructed other inmates to murder the two burmese men :)

So they will appear probably next week before the trial starts. The defendants have only just got lawyers, hardly gives them time to properly peruse the witness statements and plan a defence or is the defence prohibited from cross examining the prosecution witnesses? Sounds like the defendants are being railroaded.

Chanin Liangsuwan, chief of Koh Samui District Prison: "They may be feeling guilty for the crime they have done."

How sick is this statement ?

Seriously the guy should be forced to resign for this statement. And honestly, sadly, he probably doesn't event understand why normal people gear this and are upset.

"They may be feeling guilty for the crime they have done." LOL what a freaking joke - how bout they feel stressed cause they have been framed and are afraid for their life - maybe their family has been threatend if they do not play the part... This is all complete BS and frankly unless the Thai Government allows for independed DNA testing to take place there should be a travel advisory regarding Thailand till the test is allowed. There is NO reason for independed testing to take place - that is unless they have something to hide. Nothing else needs to be said...

The more this goes on the more it looks like a cover up , where is the bullet proof vests and safety helmet's they were wearing at the crime scene? Then they put them in the GP and ask the inmates to keep a eye on them. What a Fxxxxxx joke, and to expect the public to swallow this.

The Thais have two choices left

(1)Admit error let the scapegoats free….and it will take a few years to forget. *(by international community) say it was bad cops

And numbers fall badly for a while -

(2) Isolate westerners further by eliminating what are now most certainly Pasty's

(and be arrogant to the ninth degree)

Then hope they (tourists) believe the "Smooth as Thai silk slogans " on the airport signs and forget the horror and state cover up

One thing many people is missing, when they talk about the DNA - who monitored, what DNA samples was taken from where, when, labeled, what?

There is no way we will ever get the real truth here....and we all know it....sadly.

Thai forensic expert Dr Porntip Rojanasunan said, I think today, that police evidence ''contradicted the principles of forensic science.''

It really exposes the level of their mentality.. Thinking that everyone is on the same level of intelligence as they are.. It's quite disturbing.

But not surprising. Problem is, you can't fix stupid. Exposure to pesticides, culture, genetic? I'm baffled.

Oh well, it's a pretty insignificant country really. Mai phen rai...

I do feel sorry for these guys. No idea if they did or did not, but they might have some small degree of difficulty in getting a fair trial.

Best of luck guys.

You know, considering what's going on with this charade ( I won't say case). I'm getting slightly worried that when the food pick up comes round on a morning, announcing loudly over the tannoy,,,,,,,, "gap khao", that shortly it might be improvised by the powers to be............. "Today is year "0" leave all your belongings and head to the airport"......... sad.png

Ahh... Plan B. wai2.gif wai.gif

"I have instructed other inmates to monitor the two Burmese men. I am afraid they may commit suicide, because they show signs of stress," said Chanin Liangsuwan, chief of Koh Samui District Prison."

"They may be feeling guilty for the crime they have done."

Wow. I must have missed the trial...

Simpletons.

Translation they will be dead within a week or two due to "suicide" to prove that they were "guilty" and "case closed".

So the police are now planing to execute these guys? With the world watching and amnesty groups involved, if this plays out they will make an absolute laughing stock of the corrupt RTP. The Burmese need to have their own representatives keep an eye on them to protect them from any more mis-treatment. Suicide? I think not, murdered well that is a likely possibility.

Stupid doesn't even start to describe the RTP. Maybe retarded is a better word. You are right you can't fix it because their pea sized brains (if they have any at all) doesn't seem to function.
