No mate its down to the individual to keep it serviced, if some of the trucks on the road needed inspection they would be walking now.

It is my understanding that trucks over 5 (or is it 7?) years of age have a cursory checkover every year upon the compulsory insurance renewal?

Any vehicle over 7 years old require a check (soo pahp roht) before paying the taxes on it.
