water wells

Featured Replies

I want a water well in the Sattahip area but searching both here & google have not helped.

Can anyone recommend a company on the Eastern seaboard, what should I be asking them apart from 'water please' & how is it costed?

I've read historical posts with quotes but I would assume that price can't really be agreed until they find water which can be quite deep & through various types of earth, rock being expensive I would think.

I would think you would start by asking other local Expats or native Thais (who you can communicate with in a common language) for information.

Decent borehole about 40-50 meters deep, count on 100K.That should include a good pump like Franklin.

Just saw your post on water Bore wells.

I have seen a few of these teams driving around, and even stopped by their drilling sites. They take about 2 days to drill a well. Off hand quote they gave me is 35,000 Baht total cost. This includes the pump lining and switch gear etc. If they don't find water, you don't pay them. I wouldn't either. Hope this helps. I dont have a name card on any of them, but can try n track down if you need "serious" , I mean.
