CIB police commissioner and deputy abruptly transferred

Featured Replies

Hmmmm...... "The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) commissioner and his deputy..."

I hope they are responsible for considerable upcoming loss of face for Thailand over a certain matter.

Is that too much too hope for?

Far too much since CIB wasn't responsible for the Koh Tao investigation.
You do know one of the CIB's vision's is to help, assist and provide safety for tourists.
Yes. Was either of the men removed the head of the Tourist Police?

Well considering the tourist police is a division of the CIB then yes.

No reason was given in the lightning transfer of the CIB commissioner Pol Lt-Gen Pongpat Chayaphan, and CIB deputy commissioner Pol Maj- Gen Kowit Pongrungroj

The reason was revealed today:

Two Thai policemen charged with royal defamation

Bangkok: Two high-ranking Thai police officers have been charged with royal defamation, an official said today.

Central Investigation Bureau chief Pongpat Chayapun and his deputy Kowit Vongrongrot have been charged under the strict lese majeste law, a police spokesman told AFP. anything to get rid of the opposition and install their own palls. The 112 section is a perfect political tool

Go steady folks. TVF rule number one is there for a reason.
