Trat’s Dream Islands tourism promotion event fully booked

TRAT, 16 November 2014 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Trat Office and Trat’s Tourism Business Association are organizing an event: “Once Upon a time on Dream Islands.....in Trat's sea” as one of the activities to boost tourism in the province with the advent of the high traveling season.

TAT Trat office Director Wanprapa Suksomboon says tickets to the event to be held from November 28th-30th have been fully booked after they were opened for reservation in October. Thus the TAT Trat Office is planning to continue similar activities on a monthly basis for the whole year of 2015.

During November 28th-30th, tourists with the tickets will be taken to visit Trat Museum to learn the history of the province and native ways of life as well as visit various Unseen Thailand destinations such as those in Koh Kradad, Koh Kut and Koh Rang.
Trat is one of twelve provinces designated by the TAT as “Don’t Miss Tourist Destinations” of the country.

Nothing done on beaches against painfull bites of sandflies !

Thanks,

Trat - koh Chang never again !!

Thanks, guys. Keep the negatives coming, I like it quiet!

Seriously, Koh Kood is still one of the most beautiful and unspoiled islands in Thailand. Koh Chang is slowly going down, but still vastly preferable to, for example, Koh Samui.

The only good thing in Trat is the Bangkok Hospital there.

Dear Jacky54,

I suppose that where you live everything is much nicer, but I happen to like the laid back atmosphere in Trat. Along with wonderful fresh seafood, a lively eveningmarket, friendly natives and the proximity of beautiful beaches and islands.

But each to his own, of course.

No where I live is even worse than Trat, worst thing about Trat is the people.
