Thank you for that...I'm considering replacing my 4×4 V Cross with an MU-X

You won't get nearly as many trees in the MU-X :)

The Isuzu 4×4 V Cross is a very rare 4x4 here, only ever seen 2 in 11 years..

Ah maybe the - that I missed out is important. On the side it says V-Cross. Wasn't the model you showed called something like a Vehicle Cross.

Anyway thanks for the website ... I got a price list from a dealer here in Kanchanaburi today (we are on holiday there) and it shows more models than that web site. Isuzu ought to have their own website and keep it updated.

There is an interesting article in today's BK Post about the new Everest. Looks like it might set the standard in PPV SUVs for awhile as the new PJS and Fortuner are not even on the near horizon.

Also, there is a preview article on the new Honda HR-V (Mini SUV). Comes with a 1.8 engine, and prices start at 890k Baht, so will not directly compete with Juke or Ecosport as their top model price is not quite the entry price for the HR-V. Seems to me the only vehicle this new Indo-made Honda is competing with is their own CRV? Cannibalizing their own product??? I guess Honda knows more about the Auto business than I do. coffee1.gif

Next year in Thailand sees the D-Max and MU-X with the new Turbocharger on the new Isuzu 1.9 lt diesel engine, giving out the same HP but much better economy then the present model.. worth waiting for ??

If the engine design can deal with the power. It's a small displacement engine that is put under greater load by more turbo action. Longevity may be a problem for the vehicle with a work horse life..

Thanks ... that is very interesting ... I'm breaking my holiday, just for one day, to go to the Motor Expo ... just for a look.

I wonder if Isuzu will come out with a 6 speed auto box ...that would be worth having.
