Pakistani Tourist 'Drugged and Robbed' by Pattaya Prostitutes
By Khaosod English

PATTAYA: -- A 40-year-old Pakistani tourist says he was drugged and robbed by two Thai prostitutes in Pattaya, a popular tourist destination east of Bangkok known for its red-light district.

The tourist told police that one of the women dropped something in his drink while they were walking back to his hotel, but that he didn’t think anything of it at the time.

He then reportedly began to feel dizzy and fatigued, and cannot remember what happened after he and the two women decided to take a minibus back to his resort.

The man told police he woke up yesterday morning to find his room ransacked with 5,000 baht, 700 US dollars, 200 Euros, and his mobile phone missing. He estimated the total loss to be at least 50,000 baht.

PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Sunday, Police were called to a Hotel in South Pattaya to assist a Pakistani Tourist who had apparently been drugged and robbed by two Thai women he had earlier met on Pattaya Beach Road.

Officers arrived at the Cocco Resort in Soi 15 off the Thappraya Road and were directed to a room occupied by Mr. Mohammad Amir Waheed aged 40. He was rendered unconscious for a period of 5 hours before he awoke to find items of value had been taken from his room.

He explained to Police that he met the two women close to the “Dusit Curve” at the Northern end of Pattaya Beach at 7pm on Saturday Night and was offered sexual services by the pair who accompanied Mr. Waheed back to his room. On the way one of the women stopped at a Supermarket and purchased some beer which was consumed inside the victim’s room at the Hotel.

Now lets fill in that insurance form

He might get something for the phone but would be unlikely to get more than a token sum for the cash, if anything.

The "ladies" would have left their ID cards at receptions, details duly noted and appear in the hotel's cctv. So should be easy enough for the BiB to follow up if so motivated.

By now, the news room should have a template ready made for such items... just insert the

date and nationality of the new victim.... done...

His wife and relatives will be waiting in Islamabad or in Karachi with stones !

and the 'dancing boys' in Quetta will throw big rocks for missing income...

"The tourist told police that one of the women dropped something in his drink while they were walking back to his hotel, but that he didn’t think anything of it at the time."

Don't most people if there is something in their drink, a fly or whatever, first try to remove it before consuming the drink?

I don't like this attitude.

If it was a farang it would be ahhhhhh poor man and those horrible prostitutes.

Because he is a Pakistani, lets fill the insurance form.

I think you are still living in the UK about 25 years ago.

Please, do adjust to todays world.

Totally agree with Costas here. If it was a European or US tourist involved than there will be posts about how sorry everybody is... But if it's any Asian then so many mean comments, why? These thing can happen to any one. It's time to leave racist mind behind.

Hmmmm.. so lets list 'mistakes' in point form..

1) Picks up 'ladys' off beach road

2) Thinks nothing of the ladys dropping something in his drink

3) Takes them back to his hotel... where they apparently don't leave ID?

4) Takes them up to his room where he has 50k THB in various currencies lying about obviously not in a safe

I would of been shocked if he DIDNT get robbed.. for christs sake where in the world would any of this be a good idea?

Sorry but no sympathy here

Is he still a victim?

Does anything have anything to do with him being Pakistani?

No.

Is "Pakistani" racist bait on TVF?

Yes.
