Pepperjack cheese

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever found Pepperjack cheese in town? I've checked Rimping, Macro, BigC, but so far nada. Been having cravings for Salami and cheese and would like to use it instead of having to settle for just cheddar.

Sad to hear that you cannot find it in Chiang Mai. Plenty in Pattaya at both Friendship & Villa. Villa also has a store in Bangkok if you go there.

I used to get it at Rim Ping Ruam Choke but have not wanted any for a while so have not looked. I would expect it is still being sold there as it is a locally made product.

The locally made product is inedible.

I tend to find it at Rimping (near Airport Plaza) and usually buy 3 or 4 pkgs when it's there but I haven't seen any in the past 3 months.... BTW the kind that I buy is called Jalapeno Jack but it's just as good....

While Elektrified doesn't like it, I would say it is OK for the price. I have enjoyed it by itself and with meat in a sandwich.

It was in Rim Ping Ruam Choke yesterday, labeled Pepper Cheese 500g. It is more like a pepper mozzarella than a Jack Cheese. Kind of hard to see, not clearly labeled. I only found it by looking for a block of white cheese with peppers in it. And it is not with the imported cheeses.
