PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Saturday, Pattaya Police arrested a 40 year old Tattoo Artist who is alleged to have shot a man simply because he didn’t like the way he conducted himself in public.

The shooting occurred in front of the JV Place Apartments in Soi Buakhao just before 1am on Saturday. Khun Chainarong aged 22 was shot in his back by the suspect and he was later pronounced dead at the nearby Pattaya City Hospital.

Moments after the shooting, the suspect Khun Warin, who was described by Police as being heavily intoxicated, called a friend to pick him up. Khun Warin drove off in his friends Bronze Isuzu D-Max pick-up.

Police were able to apprehend him after the vehicle was involved in a road crash in front of a Hotel in Central Pattaya where a Motorcyclist was badly injured.

Such an angry man, well at least he will be off the streets for the next 5 years minimum.

Many Thai men are getting crazy when drunk so stay well clear of them.

Shot in the back... Pretty much says it all...

Yep, even with the gun still no balls to be face to face.

He should have great time in jail

Can not help but wonder , with the amount of shootings almost every day, you would think something would be done to get guns off the streets.

Really tough new law or at least a crackdown

Even under arrest for murder, they just have to do something with their fingers and hands when having their photo taken.

He looks pleased the Liverpool v Arsenal game was 1-1 at half time .. biggrin.png

You got it all wrong here. He's just showing the length of time he will stay in custody before he gets out on bail.

"I shot a man in Reno just to see him die." But really Soi Buakao is like the Kao San Rd on 'roids. It's got an undercurrent of violence and seediness.

Let me show you how it's done, you shoot them in the back.

that's how you should conduct yourself in public! thumbsup.gif

Where is superman General P.?

Wouldn't it be a top task to disarm such scumbags?

Haven't I read so many success stories about weapons seized?

It stuns me that "sin city", one of the top criminal spots has not seen noticeable crackdowns/cleanups.

Who owns/controls Pattaya? Maybe more surprises to come...

I'm not condoning what the guy did. Not at all.

But perhaps his victim was doing the smart thing (beatin' feet) and the shooter couldn't get in the guys' face.
