Has anyone exported/imported a car from Thailand to the UK?

Is it possible?

I have a classic car and some old honda cubs i don't use anymore in Thailand but I'm not ready to sell them.

Thanks in advance

Unless you are going back to the UK for good you can just ship your car to the UK and then ship it back to Thailand.

Hi,

My wife and I moved last year to Thai from the UK and we shipped our car with a company called Unsworth Global Logistics. They offered good price and reliable service.

I hope it can help you! The link is: http://www.uglog.com/

What kind of car and how much tax?

the age of the car, where is was built and how long in your name will be a consideration in the tax/VAT implications in the UK.

We did an extensive research and get quotes from different companies. Finally we contact UGL and they gave as a reasonable price. The car is a 1979 Jaguar XJ-S V12 and the total taxes were around £7000.
