An increase in Chinese tourists and increase in viral videos of their rudeness. Happy New Year.

Now allowing ISPs here to censor email and sites......... finally this action does actually affect me. This is the first government act in 14 years of living here that actually affects and discourages me PERSONALLY.bah.gif

Hoping for less Thai bashing as with Farang bashing, Also be nice not having the same old questions about visa's. Other than that to live and let live enjoy life and Tap as many ladies I can, So many women to little time. As for the baht it will be bad year for baht but on the upside it will be great for us Expats that get paid overseas.

A falling Euro and therefore a desperate struggle to find proof of enough income at the end of the year to get my retirement visa extension.

I read/watch/listen to everything and have not seen/heard anything that indicates the ex pats will ever be considered a valuable asset, until we're gone to other nations now offering incentives to relocate.

Over the years we collect so much trash, so called friends included. I see this year as a year to take out the trash to make room and time for the things and people that really matter.

Happy New Year !

I am looking forward to more visa crackdowns

Not knowing what is valid anymore and what paperwork is needed

and fully expecting to show up for an extension at CW and be told I now need such and such a form

The 800,000 will go up to 1,000,000 to get the retirement extension, the 65,000 per month will go up to 80K per month.

The ATM machines will work only with 'homebank' cards 1 day per quarter.

The internet will be 'off line' one hour per quarter.
