Nakhon Ratchasima to turn its Wang Nam Khiew district into an international tourist destination

The northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima will develop its Wang Nam Khiew (วังน้ำเขียว) district into an international tourist attraction.

Deputy governor Pradit Kingko (ประดิษฐ์ กิ่งโก้) said the province found seven locations suitable for development into tourist destinations for foreign visitors.

Mr. Pradit said Wongchalitkul (วงษ์ชวลิตกุล) Universiy is advisor of the project. It will study impact of the development of tourism industry in Wang Nam Khiew district on the environment and other areas, he said, adding that report of the study will be submitted to the government for consideration.

While the area is beautiful and has indeed potential for tourism , it will be waste of money to try to get international tourism there .

Even Khao Yai or Nayon Nayok area is nearly deserted during the week.
