Popular Post Rykbanlor Posted February 24, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted February 24, 2015 I feels me a rant coming on: If you are not humorous or creative enough to come up with some more interesting or constructive comments, and all you can do is type in the same hackneyed little comments that were maybe a tiny bit funny once, when the first person to think of it posted it, then please hold off until you think of something better. The list showing the top three (please feel free to add to the list): 1. "No Thai person could do something that vile", - ok, ok, we get it. Some Police officer said it in the aftermath of the Koh Tao murders, it's ridiculous, it's been lampooned and really, a few times is enough, and it was 6 months ago. 2. " Maybe they could pin it on a couple of Burmese lads" or any variations. See the previous post. If this is the height of your wit and banter, then you are still probably telling Tommy Cooper jokes and watching Morecambe and Wise xmas shows on the weekend. If you have to recycle this line, spend a few hours thinking how it could be done without using the same phrases over and over again, verbatim. 3. "More quality tourists" Yes, very good, well done. Let me call in the Thai-TV sound effects team to score your fabulously pithy repartee. I'm not whiter than white myself Costas, and I'm not having a go at the guys here for going with Thai prostitutes. I'm just saying that since so many Western guys come here for the ladies of the night, and since that's their conversation, then it stands to reason those guys will be fine with a broken record, even when it's coming from their own mouth. Probably not worth starting a thread about, however, because tripe is the nature of online fora and social media and different people are typing the same thing. It's not a paid-for service and is thus loaded up with trolls and warriors. But if you think this is bad, have you seen YouTube lately, even after the big cleanup?
