Killer of Udon Thani monk not a career gunman, police say
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- ATTACKERS who shot dead a revered monk in Udon Thani province at the start of the month were probably not career gunmen, as they fled before ensuring the victim was dead, assistant Royal Thai Police commander Lt-General Panya Mamen said yesterday.

A trajectory study showed that the attackers shot to kill, although the bullets did not hit essential organs. Their secondary shots did not seem to aim for death, and the nature of the monk's wounds suggested the attackers could have been too excited, he said.

"The police investigators have given an importance on why the shooters did not check on the body before fleeing, which is against career gunmen's nature of work," the chief investigator handling the murder of Phra Bundit Supanthito on March 1 said.

Police are probing the source of the murder weapon - either an M-16 or HK-33, which Panya said contained several character abnormalities - to determine the potential provider.

Panya spoke after paying visits to several statues in Udon Thani with senior investigators, where they worshipped and reportedly asked for blessings and help to solve the case.

Just like the bloody Thai electricians, unqualified and think they are experts. What Thailand needs is a decent hit man academy.

Oh good, that's fine then, with statues on the case should be wrapped up soon.

The statues are likely to be more active and engaged than the BIB.

They know he's not because they've got all the career gunmen on their payroll.

That's a reassurance no one cares for, really, not a professional hit man? Oh, what a relief....

naughty naughty, but so true, it seems a well walked path, pay off your debts, hand yourself in, plead guilty, a pardon after 12 years.

Wonder if one of the Chalerm siblings is running loose again.whistling.gif

Maybe the hit men will learn that earth is not just a planet. The electricians don't.

Maybe they didn't finish the hit because they realised they shot the wrong monk.

I sometimes wonder if Thai's come from some planet far, far away.. For some Police head honcho to speak this kind of nonsense, then go pray at some concrete statue's for help is mind boggling. It's not so much that this one idiot is talking like this, they all do..blink.png
