"clean" automatic pump for drinking water

in our new house we like to have one drinking water tape in the kitchen.

using a water cleaning system with the moo baan water is not a option,
because of our experience.

we will buy 20 litre drinking water tank (12 to 15 baht) for to fill into

a 200 litre water tank. from there we need to use a small automatic pump

which is suitable for drinking water. distance storage room to the kitchen is about
15 meter with a high different from 4 meters.

has anyone done it this way or in a similar way?
any idea or recommendation for the pump model are appreciated, many thanks.

There are nice water dispensing machines -- with hot and chilled water ... not sure if the ones I have seen are plumbed or filled by bottle ... or if they have UV germ killing ability.

Which by the way -- what you want to design may still require a UV light system to keep the water clear of bacterial and algae growth. It would certainly have to be free from sunlight to keep algae from growing.

I understand why you might want to do this -- but seems pretty complicated just to get good drinking water. Would you have a gauge to keep track of remaining water left ... ?

This sounds rather complicated, and as noted by the 2nd poster, might not actually result in "good" water.

Is there a reason a standard under-sink, on-the-fly filtration system can't work?

- the tank will be in a dark storage room, no sunlight.

- we will use a special tank for drinking water (attachment)

- about every two weeks we will buy 5 x 20 litre drinking water,

therefore the water will be changed and (hopefully) in good quality.

we buy since 10 years the 20 litre drinking water tanks and we are happy with the company / quality.

i (personally) think the filtration system is more complicated and no one of our friends is really

happy with the chosen system ... !

It's entirely up to you of course.

But a decent quality Reverse Osmosis system with UV zapping if you want will produce water as good as, if not better than that you get in the bottles. Fresh every time you open the tap (OK ours has a 10L pressure storage tank).

And no mucking about with filling tanks, wondering if the stored water is clean etc.

Tank cleanliness would be my chief concern, once nasties living start in your tank you have no way of knowing and they could easily be introduced when transferring the bottles to the tank.

If you really want to continue with the bottles, I would just get a couple of the bottle stands that dispense as needed.
