Coming to Chiang Rai and im wondering if its okay to drink tap water or should i stick to bottled? Should i be concerned at restraunts about the water or ordering drinks with ice? Is it okay to brush my teeth with tap water?

And are there water purifiers for sale locally i can buy for our rental house?

It really depends on where you live and how sensitive you are. I would stick to bottled initially or install a filtration system for drinking water. If you are worried, get your water tested. Brushing you teeth should not be a problem.

With restaurants, it again depends on where you eat. In some cases the water may be the least of your worries.

Reverse Osmosis filters are available from all the builders suppliers and range in price

I would recommend that you install a main line filter on the invoming main as this will prolong the life of the RO filters which can be quite expensive.
