Any recommendations for a decent car wash over here on the Dark Side?

Thanks in advance

On Khao Talo near the large TOA paint shop sign, or a couple of hundred metres up from the yellow Bank of Ayuddhaya building. They do a good job, and the main lady speaks good English and is very friendly.

On Neumplabwan, go past the Vietnamese restaurant on the left and about 100m on the rhs you will see one, they do a good job 180bht in and out.

Bypass road between Siam Country Club and NernPlubWan. Hollywood car wash, they do a decent job. Bt.180 for my Vigo.

Off topic posts removed, the topic is about a car wash not a restaurant

Hello,

I agree with you that outside cleaning is enough, especially to avoid that they scratch my luxury interior with their ugly gay long nails !

I will try this place, do they know that they know that they have to rinse and foam the car before rubbing it ?

Thank you.

I go here: https://goo.gl/maps/XQDpo

89B for the outside. The inside only needs doing a few times a year and I get that done for free when the vehicle is serviced.

I take mine to the Billabong bar on the lake. Girls call and a young bloke comes & picks the car up takes it away full wash & detail 180 baht. Takes about 45 minutes. Sit & have a couple of beers and a light feed. Works for me

Anyone know of a place that will clean leather seats and the hoodliner ?

The place I mentioned above has now moved to here: https://goo.gl/maps/irexuoRdQDG2 and the price has gone up to 99B.

They rinse the vehicle then lather it then clean it with sponges, then rinse and finish/dry by hand. I think this is the standard procedure.

The reckon to do seats also, but I have no idea how good they are at that. Worth asking them, I suppose. They have quite a few cars for sale on their forecourt and I suspect that they have done the valeting on them, so that would be a way to check the quality.

Dumb people !!

Soi Siam Country Club, heading east (to the lake), about 100 m before the Nongprue crossroads (traffic lights currently flashing) on the right (same side a Tulip bakery), there's a very good car wash with an air conditioned waiting room and free wifi. Right opposite a 7-eleven, it's on the stretch of newly resurfaced, widened road. Best to come in from Phonpraphanimit 22 since you only need to dodge down a single-lane bit between the ditches opposite the Tulip.

I too have tried many.  Currently i use Mr Shop on soi 89 next to small Tesco and opposite market.  Absolutely the best clean i have had in Thailand.  Wiper blades cleaned( can you believe?), petrol locking cap opened &cleaned inside,  and a fragrant air blown inside  for a few minutes at the end.  Used 4 or 5 times now and same quality service every time. Highly recommended.  B200 inside/outside for CRV.  Same quality for doing my PCX also.  Attention to every nook and cranny.

Interesting, but the price?

That place I mentioned previously has (or maybe had) another branch at the bottom of Nern Plub Wan:

They do a fidelity card that gives you a free wash for every 9 or 10 purchased, though it doesn't apply to the cheaper 99B outside-only wash.

Charges 220 baht for my pickup.

Note that the road works have started seriously buggering up the crossroads at SSCC and Nongprue as they try and get the drains to fit.

Soi 89 on Sukhumvit  is almost opposite & just south of MAKRO on eastern side.  Mr Shop/Tesco etc  is about 500m on the left after the railway

Are they different owners from a year ago do you know? we used to use them but the quality of the job dropped off so we stopped using them. they are the closest to me and would go back if different owners.

Soi Nern Plub Wan, actually Map Yai Lia Soi 31. There is a car wash. Opposite is a.....waiting room. They serve beer. Not sure for luxury cars, though.

I think that my place does the entire inside, outside, engine compartment and underside for that price. I cant be sure because I hardly ever have the inside done.

i really dont know.  She is about mid to late 30's and maybe her father too is involved.  The shopfront certainly was improved not so long ago as was the interior with free WIFI and water & nibbles

She also offers a card and the 11th wash is free

For about B200 try it and see as it's your local (as it is mine)

Yes, that's exactly what 220 baht gets me at my place the car wash I recommended. I don't do the "outside only" or "don't do the engine" nickel and diming but I am pretty sure he can work with those that do. Anyway, there's a large 'menu' of services posted on the waiting room window.
