Newbie To Bkk Needs Help Finding A Dealer!

Featured Replies

I am new to Bangkok, based in the Don Muang area and I am trying very hard to find a mitsubishi dealer in order to have a look at the new triton pickup. I have searched these forums and so far have only found fleeting remarks about Sathorn and Uttaradit. I have also searched the interweb but only found PDP2000 and soni. Do people know of any other Mitsubishi dealers in the Bangkok area with there address (and maybe website!) I can see Sathorn is huge and I can't yet find Uttardit.

many thanks

that's as far as my limited thai reading could get me on their website... they say they have an english version, yeah right... try to find the dealers!

well that page is to my knowledge a list of dealers in the bkk area -- all in thai but what can you do? maybe someone else can help you out a little moreso than i have.

either way, I think that there is a Mitsu dealer on Chaengwattana road (if you're by DM airport, then Chaenwattana is in the southern direction toward bkk, you can travel along Vipawadee Rangsit road to get there. I think I've seen a Mitsu dealer somewhere around Prachacheun rd. and Changwattana, near that J-avenue wannabe place on Changwattana that has the Burger King in it. I guess if you're new to bangkok this info is probably not very useful but maybe another member knows what dealer I'm referring to.

thanks teej, I had tried the Mitsu website and found the same "English" pages as you. :o

I do know Chaengwattana, I'm a frequent visitor to Laksi plaza and Tesco Lotus - which end of Chaengwattana is it?

As I sped in a taxi earlier I thought I saw one on the road from DM airport to the turning for Lard Prao (sp?). There were quite a few dealerships and a massive Issuzu one and I'm sure I caught glimpse of a Mitsu sign - could have been the exhaust fumes though!

It's near the Tesco, I believe, but further back down the road (to the left if looking at Tesco)... i think it's closer to the Freeway side of Changwattana than Vipawadee-side. (maybe we're talking about a different tesco haha)... but i think the thai direction would be more toward "pak kret" than "lak si"... like I said before it's near where Prachacheun Rd. ends at Changwattana... if you can get that close, then i think some motorcycle guy should be able to tell you where to go... bring a brochure or something to show em to make sure they know what you're talking about.... :o

thanks teej, managed to find it last night. As you say it is just after Tesco Lotus. There is another on the way to Lard Prao coming down from DM airport.

No worries. Well, I'd like to know what you thought about the Triton after going through all of this effort to find the place...
