Expat hangouts in Ubon

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm up in Ubon city for a couple of weeks. Can anyone recommend some good Expats bars with good priced beer, maybe some music but more importantly a good pool table ?

Thanks in advance.

Wrong Way would probably be your best bet. You can find them on Facebook.

I have always heard that Ubon doesn't have A large farang population.Maybe move to Udon Thani for A large farang population.

Where does the op state that he/she is moving to Ubon,he/she is merely visiting.

Engage brain before answering.

That's an advantage for Ubon then.

Spent a week in Ubon last month for candle festival. Loved the place and surrounding area plan to explore more some day as its only a hour from Kantalak.

Met my brother there for his birthday, neither of us look for farang hang outs.

Found a nice restaurant called Smile heading west out of the city from the main park. Live music and decent Thai and western food.

Try Peppers Bakery and Cafe. They put a great effort into delivering good food and value to their customers and it really shows. I really enjoy their food.
