kenk3z Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 If I get one of the newer GSM cell phones with a built-in camera to bring on the next trip to Thailand, is there any gateway on AIS or DTAC that can be used to send picture files by E-Mail? Any ------- Connectivity ------------------------ at ----------------------------- all ??? Thanks, kenk3z
kenk3z Posted April 6, 2004 Author Posted April 6, 2004 That's good to know. Do you simply use the phone's capability to send a picture file to an E-Mail address? Or do you have to specify both an E-Mail address and a "gateway" phone number? If so, please pass along any information on the "gateway" number....... How many minutes does it take to transfer a typical phone picture across the network? I know this depends on the photo resolution, just looking for what is a typical situation. Thanks, kenk3z

AIS GSM Advance/One2Call GPRS Service Rate : GSM Advance contract 0.10 THB per 1 KB. 1-2-Call Pre Pay 0.15 THB per 1 KB. Once you are in Thailand, you contact the relevant network provider in order for them to activate the GPRS. http://www.happydprompt.com/en/index.html
