UDD suspects the police chief may have ulterior motive against the movement

249-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- The United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) has dismissed the suggestion by the national police chief Pol Gen Somyot Poompunmuang that the Erawan Shrine bombing was politically linked.

Mr Worachai Hema, a former Pheu Thai MP and a core member of the UDD, said Tuesday that the police chief’s remark about political connection harboured ulterior motive to paint the government’s opposite side in a negative light to correspond with the government’s suspicion of the opposition’s involvement.

The police chief mentioned the name of Mr Ord, a Thai man who was previously involved with several politically-motivated bombings in Bangkok, as a link man who could shed the light about the political linkage.

Mr Worachai said he didn’t know who Mr Ord was. But he insisted that the Erawan Shrine and Sathon pier bombings were linked with the trafficking of Uighur immigrants.

The former Pheu Thai MP insisted that no political groups of any colours would commit such a heinous act against their people and to ruin the country’s image.

If anyone has any Idea of who did the bombing and why give these poor buggers a call , they just have not got it , the Police chief is in charge of incompetence , if you don't know, don't make it up or guess , because you will get found out , never has there been such a badly run police force, except possibly Somalia's. coffee1.gif

"But he insisted that the Erawan Shrine and Sathon pier bombings were linked with the trafficking of Uighur immigrants."

LOL - and how on earth can he be so sure of that ?. Sounds a bit too much like that was the intention : set off a bomb to try and destroy the tourism industry to damage the economy but let someone else take the blame.

If he thinks no Thai could commit such an act, he should have a chat with the red-shirts who pulled the trigger which fired grenades into groups of women and children.

Me thinks Mr Worachai protesteth far too much and far too quickly. He just convinced me that they were behind it.

For the first time, I half agree with a red. The Erawan bombing had nothing to do with the reds. However, I don't think Somyot has an ulterior motive to hang the reds. I think he's just trying to walk away from his job so he can claim he solved 3 bombings during his tenure. The link between Odd and the Erawan bombing will fall by the wayside once Somyot retires to the casino heavens of Cambodia. May he not enjoy his ill-gotten gains.

Or the popcorn gunners or the guards that dumped bodies into the canal.

Or we could all take our colored glasses off and sit back and watch the show.

Oh well then that's it - sorted.

Mind you, you're probably convinced that Air Asia carried out the attack on Pearl Harbour, after all their cabin crew wear red.....

Gee that must have been hard to convince such an unbiased individual!

Could you be convinced that Thaksin is the devil and that all red shirts are his evil servants waiting to maim & kill at his beckon call? Oh, you have been already.

the link is with a red bomb maker that has made bombs previously, doesnt mean that the reds are guilty of anything, just the one person, this idiot trying to stir sh*t is is making it look like he is worried about something else coming out and is making it worse. We all know what the thai police are like but the only time we see people protesting their innocence like this is when there is some truth to it, better off just accepting that a single red may be linked to the bomb making and denouncing him for doing it, would look much better for them

What more does k. Worachai know about the bombings that he 'insists' ?

You mean the stupid, uneducated reds manufactured a bomb, set it off, gathered lots of bomb making material and placed this in some apartments and persuaded to have some non Thais take the fall?? You sure give them a lot of credit, John!

"Me thinks Mr Worachai protesteth far too much and far too quickly"

You mean one and a half month after the bomb went off? Why am I not surprised you think that is quick..coffee1.gif

"He just convinced me that they were behind it."

No John, you have been convinced of that from day one (as you have posted again and again).

You put too much faith in the red's being stupid and uneducated. In reality they are neither (there are always exceptions of course).

I was actually being ironic. It's EnglishJohn who constantly lets us know how stupid he thinks the reds are but now suddenly he's convinced they are behind some complicated, master criminal type of conspiracy.

The poor fellow just can't make up his mind.

I don't think that all reds are stupid and uneducated. Hell, I'd even give them the right to vote!!

Thats a long stretch. Their actions are enough evidence to proove exactly the opposite.

Being cunning, conniving and ruthless is a long, long way from being educated and intelligent.

so where do you think they got this grand education?

Issan united university...Burriram campus

laughable.

Yet another elite yellow shirt lets us see the truth about why the stupid reds should be ruled by the Sino-Thai elite in Bangkok forever. Thank you, Sir, for showing us your bigotry.

BTW, you really shouldn't diss any of the universities outside Bangkok as they're not exactly known for their stellar academic record.

And one other thing; when claiming that someone is stupid you really must be able to spell and use grammar correctly or you'll come across as a complete !d!**.

Well, that makes two of us.

This is the closest we have come yet, to an admission from the police, that they have absolutely no clue whatsoever regarding the bombing. Was it Uighurs,... Turks .... IS ..... perhaps Bill Belichik ..... , so ... might as well use it for some

But using children as human shields, storming hospitals, terrorising patients and setting fire to shopping centres is fine.

Well done, you have just confirmed what a number of us were thinking.

Burriram University may not be rated as one of the top Universities nationally, but it does give it's students the chance to do something in life other than driving taxis or opening their legs for falangs.

Is that why you sneer at it?
