steelepulse Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I went to clean out a 2nd floor sink drain and came across what looked like a bunch of gelatin like white spheres. Anyone know what these are? Thee sizes are between a large fish egg and a marble.
bankruatsteve Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Looks like could be tokay (the large gecko) egg? But unusual place to find. Snake?
kamalabob2 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 They might be the balls to mask a smell often found in a urinal in a public restroom.
eyecatcher Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 They might be the balls to mask a smell often found in a urinal in a public restroom. Agree with you bob they are camphor balls. Someone obviously had the drain smell coming back. No trap probably then?

steelepulse Posted October 10, 2015 Author Posted October 10, 2015 No, they definitely are not. The maid has never used these and they were more like some kind of egg.

Briggsy Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I suspect these are fun-sized marshmallows. Do they taste sweet?
steelepulse Posted October 10, 2015 Author Posted October 10, 2015 Indeed they do look like lizard eggs Thanks for the sensible answer. Indeed they are eggs of some sort, but how they got into the system and climbed up 4 metres is a mystery. If they got in from the interior of the house, then they must have been pretty small as the stopper is not more than 1 cm in height.
lopburi3 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 They can get into wall outlets with no visible entry so am sure they can get through a 1cm crack (which they might increase as they pass through).
Artisi Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Did you crack one open for a look - will answer most of the questions.
