Can somebody please confirm if the E280 (W210 model) sold here in Thailand has the same power and engine as a European model or is it detuned for tax barrier reasons?

Official price list from Daimler-Chrysler lists E280/W210 with 2,977 cc engine 219 BPH in Avantgarde and Avantgarde Sports versions.

Gray market version varies as to country of origin.
