Low level lighting for bathroom

Featured Replies

I'm looking for some luminescent tape or other forms of low level lighting for my bathroom so that I don't have to switch on light to find the toilet at night. Any suggestions?

If you are serious, maybe find a "night light" that plugs in to receptacle - but then you would have to have such receptacle in the bathroom. "Glo Tape" is available from several mfg but not sure where in Thailand. And, it doesn't light things up - it just glows.

But really? You can't turn on a light switch? If switch not convenient, maybe get DIY and install 2-way (3-way USA) switch for convenience.

I have to hit the BR about 4-5 times every night - but, for me, the door and light switch are within a meter of my bed.

Cheers

I think the OP don't want to switch ALL the lights on and get his eyes burned out when he goes for a wee during the night.

I have a dimmer installed separate from the main switch, but GloTape is a good idea. Try ask at Lampitude.

You're right. I want to avoid switching on the light so as not to wake completely up. Thanks, will try Lamptitude.

I find that the light absolutely blinds me if I put it on at night, plus the switch is on the bedroom side and hence the light would disturb my partner. Fortunately I have a window and a night-time light outside nearby which supplies sufficient light to find things! A flashllight/torch might be a simple idea kept just inside the bathroom door.

a 2-watt nightlight (150 Baht) will solve the problem. electricity cost per year less than 2 bottles of beer.
