Favourite Goals Past And Present

Featured Replies

As a West Ham fan I found Lanzinis goal against Everton to be top class.

Feel free to add, any league, competition or year etc.

I think for any City fan the Agueeero goal sends chills through the body.

Being at Old Trafford for the Denis Law backheel is up there for me...made a great Monday at school for me (group of 8 of us school mates: 4 City & 4 ManU)...ps. was a bit scarey outside the ground and on the 53 bus back to Belle Vue for this schoolkid on his own.

+1............. Teddy Sheringham,Ole Gunner Solskjaer biggrin.png

I was on holiday in Stoupa Greece at the time with my GF we went out for a meal and Bayern scored, we retired back to our room to enjoy some Ouzo on the balcony as she wasn,t a soccer fan-knowing that any more goals would be apparent as it was sooooo quiet there......................later I went for a top up and she was fast asleep on the bed facepalm.gif off I go back to the Taverna and with 15 minutes remaining I order a large Amstel....................what a last 15 minutes to any game.

Being a lifelong United fan this is up there with the best............... some things/events in life can never be forgotten thumbsup.gif

p.s. she was still asleep when I returned much the worse for wear biggrin.png

Yes to this day I remember where I was when I watched that match.

Dalglish for Scotland...around 82 or 83 skinning two players from the right wing and curling it past the keeper into the top corner.

I'll try to find it later....but to this 10 year old...jaw well dropped as a right winger....

I'll dig up some Davie Cooper moments as well....

Just seen the following great goals...

Crouch for Stoke vs City

Tevez for City vs Stoke

Kinki for City vs Soton

1998 World Cup, Netherlands - Argentina, Dennis Bergkamp scores 2-1 in the 89th minute. What a brilliant goal.

I think it was late 90's Tony Yeboah against Wimbledon. Cracker
