ilikehdtv losing programme

Featured Replies

Hello ,

Over the past 2 weeks I am losing the programme , sometimes at 30 minute intervals and also up to an hour but it seems to be more of an event when I am watching UK tv and Sky Sports in the evening . I can return to the programme within 15 seconds on my smart tv . I have also made sure that there is no timer active and I have no such problem when the Thai programmes are being viewed through the hd aerial .

I reported the problem to the customer service team who always reply quickly and are helpful but they suggested I change my ISP plus they said they would put me on a different server , however the problem still persists . Have a friend who has similar issues , anyone else having similar experiences ?

p.s. Have to say as a footnote that when all is working it is very good value and quality with access to the majority of UK tv at a very competitive price .

>but they suggested I change my ISP

Is your ISP True? I don't know why but I have better connections on TOT and 3BB services. Luckily I have the choice, some others might not.

No My ISP is TOT fiber optic 20 down and 7 up , and is a stable supply

Thanks

The fact that it doesn't seem to happen on the regular Thai channels suggests to me that it's overloaded.

I tried this service during the Rugby world cup and it wasn't so great during the games themselves - it worked much better at most other times.

This suggests to me that at peak times when the number of watchers increases a lot they might be reaching capacity on some of their servers.

I use -

expattv

+ TOT fibre optic 20 down. My TV is in another room from my router so it's a wi-fi connection. At peak times (soccer EPL nights) the service sticks/freezes/jumps forward.

Sure could be the reason as loss of programme is mostly at prime time evening viewing . Can you suggest any other providers for UK tv that may be worth contacting ?

Many thanks for all replies

p.s. Have a TOT tech coming to take a look and any positive news will be posted

Problem solved before TOT arrived . Ilikehdtv , when having selected UK TV the large grid of programmes is shown and when one is selected you are then shown a small insert tv screen and must select from flash 1, 2 , hdml or cloud . Now here is the remedy that myself and friends were not aware of . On top of the tv insert is a small box called isp and when selected it gives a choice of maybe around 10 options , I was on auto B but then changed it to auto A . Since then there has been zero dropping of programmes .
