angsta Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Surely this is a case for Dan Dare??!???!!!!
NeverSure Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 The full story says it's a Glock 12. I've never heard of one but... Surely it's either a model 26 (subcompact 9mm) or its brother the model 27 (40 S&W). With so much 9mm (NATO) ammo floating around in LOS I'd guess perhaps its a model 26. Cheers.

Your input will not be complete without the serial number of the piece... beside, not sure to be scared off first, his ugly mug or his gun...
shirtless Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 He was an incident waiting to happen , glad him and his pistol are not roaming the streets.
saakura Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Looks scary even without the gun. No wonder the moto guy did him in. Strange to hire a motorcycle to take a tour of the town with a holstered gun. Could have been an assasin hunting for his target.
lebenbabcock Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Perhaps a scout, getting the lay of the land prior to a more heavy weight money laundering sortie.
RichardColeman Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Hats off to the driver for not panicing too much and doing the right thing !
monty1412 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Looks like Gollum's brother.. scary dude.... their is almost a look of defiance or "you dont know who I am " in his eyes and posture..... well done to the mototaxi driver for his actions....
pmk1000 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 whoever he is, he is not the brains of any operation! I suspect he will balied rather quickly and might lose 1 of those fingers he's pointing with for being so stupid
soalbundy Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 just a Chinese tourist, word has got out that Thailand is not a safe place to go on holiday

No, i think it's a hand gun
godden Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 It begs the question, where did he get the gun, was it brought here or did he bring it with him.
ironbark Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Airport scanners would surely have picked it up. He either bought it here or he came overland from Kunming via Laos. No scanners that way.

No, i think it's a hand gun All the Glock models mentioned are handguns. I don't think Glock even makes any rifles or smg's. And, 9mm NATO is a pistol cartridge but it is also used in smg's (sub-machine guns.) Neversure was surely right this time.

Cynical Sailor Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 "after he was caught with a holstered semi-automatic handgun and two cartridges full of bullets" Would that be something like two 'magazines' full of bullets/cartridges?....

Maybe they meant a Glock G26 with 12 round clips.
malt25 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 No trouble entering with weapons when you arrive by space craft. This guy is definitely from another planet.
Bakseeda Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Perhaps he was revenging his hairdresser...?

ebonykap Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 No trouble entering with weapons when you arrive by space craft. This guy is definitely from another planet. Yeah, my thinking exactly. When I scrolled down the page and saw the photo, I could have sworn I was looking at ET.
springheeled jack Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 he certainly looks creepy I don't like his looks at all I am not surprised the taxi driver was apprehensive .

1duckyboy Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Could have been a terrorist looking for a crowded target. He could of had up to 50 rounds in those clips.
