Fortunately i had a printed copy od my booking.com confirmation with me, which i usually never have.

Had the same experience just before Christmas first time) my family passed through followed by myself, the immigration officer asked for confirmation of where I will be staying my wife stated at the family home in Chiang Mai. She had to tell him our house number and confirm the moobarn that we will be staying.

No problem, I suppose all this information needs to be captured on the arrival card including your annual income!
