The beauty of being to say a GRAND Chinese or Mexican, etc. is that it can INCLUDE all the regional variations. So why waste one choice on breaking them up?

In that case, all five of mine might have been different REGIONS of China!

Out of interest, which regions would those be?

1 Indian

2 Mexican

3 French

4 Thai

5 Italian

Spanish and English runners up.

Quite difficult as I love a good Fish and Chips but most other English food doesn't bother me.

1.Thai

2.Indian

3.Chinese (only really familiar with things likely to be found in American Chinese restaurants )

4.Italian

5.American (not fast food, but a few basic things remembered from childhood home cooking & things you can get at a proper urban delicatessen & some things that traditionally are considered regional specialties )

5.1 Sashimi (which I realize isn't a cuisine, but one of my favorites and about all I know about Japanese cuisine).

Italian

Chinese - the spicy regions

Vietnamese

Argentinian

Lebanese - Middle Eastern food in general

* Thai would end up around 17th or 18th and that would be for street food and Isan food
