The shooter seems to have a specific skillset. Three shots, three dead people, not as easy as it sounds.

Ex-police, ex-military?

Condolences to the families of those deceased.

A very clear diagnose in distance;

or is it the OP ??

By the way, in some US states you allowed to save your parking rights with your gun ,

so when it is allowed in US , why than not prktice it here too ??

RIP - 3 lifes for a parking lot

I understand the frustration but do not condone the actions.

What this country needs are proper rules like proper parking signs just because its "Your shop" you don't own all the parking in front of it.

Police inspect the scene Monday evening on Soi Suan Siam 15 where three people were shot dead, reportedly over a parking conflict.

BANGKOK — Police are hunting a man who shot three people to death last night over a parking dispute.

A warrant was issued Tuesday for the arrest of Thossaporn Pitakwattanon, 33, who is accused of killing three of his neighbors in northeast Bangkok after one of them said he could not park there.

“We recommend that he surrender,” said police Col. Suwitcha Jindakam. “Because police will take the strongest measures to capture him.”

Thossaporn reportedly parked his Toyota Fortuner SUV in front of his house on Soi Suan Siam 15 in the Khan Na Yao district. His home is next to a shop owned by Siriluck Saehor, 46. The pair were arguing when Thossaporn allegedly pulled out a gun and fired it into her chest.

Remember the next time you get a road rage fever over something that the guy you flip off could easily have a gun in his car and be having a bad day and doesn't particulary care for farangs anyway......Often read stories of farangs like I'll show him, or I'll whip his butt etc etc....not if you're dead you sure will not.

Generally NOT a good idea to get into confrontations.

correct !!

My wife always tell me, cool down, leave this Idiots to go !!

It seems this hint of my nice wife is " Live saving "

Some off-topic posts have been removed. I don't think Thailand has a gun lobby and references such as that are likely to derail the topic.

Please use some decorum in your posts. 3 people have lost their lives over what should have been a minor problem.

thailand gets more like the USA every day

sad, tragic and unnecessary

Wow, took 47 posts to finally get to USA bashing. Must be some kind of record. I am from USA, and risk of getting shot for no reason much higher here.

I totally agree. THis is a much more dangerous place than the US. At leas in the U.S. a lot of crime like this is in the shitty parts of town and you can avoid those areas. Unfortunately in Thailand, all parts of town are shitty. Even mixed in the nice places in the sois of high-end Thong Lor, you have people living in huts with corrugated roofs. I've been here for 12 years and I've never seen a "nice area" without blight anywhere in this country. I live in a high-end mooban, but as soon as I step outside to the sois on the left and right we have trash.

My question is "what was this Mr. Average doing being in possession of a gun" ?

in case of an argument, that sounds reasonable, this is Thailand after all, brush up on your Thainess.

In this peace loving, Buddhist country, 10 million known guns!

Really, it is not about guns. He could have killed them with the Van. True, Thai's are peaceful 99 % of the time. But that other 1 % if they get angry; they go crazy to the point of murder. You see it all the time. When they get into a fight; if they get the other person on the ground; they keep hitting, kicking , punching the person in the head; to the point of no movement. Even school kids. Sad.

Look at the names of those killed. None of them are Thai.

This time. But Thai's kill Thai's all the time. And remember there are 3 million migrant workers, plus another 1 million Farang in Thailand at any given time.

Rip to the poor victims.

It has been the same for the last 40 years or so that I know of,just better reporting.

Jeez. He even followed the third victim into the shop before killing him. So, not just an on the spot reaction. Surely the cops will catch this guy.

3 people shot in a dispute over a parking space, 2 of them not actually involved in the dispute, the 1 who was actually involved pursued into a shop and then executed there......you know I don't think I have heard of anything like that happening in any of those places you mention.

I have quite often thought I could kill for a parking space outside my front door but due to my upbringing by both my excellent parents I would never dream of doing such a thing to anyone regardless of the situation, people who carry out such horrendous crimes over stupid trivial matters are obviously suffering from some sort of mental illness and need to be locked away from the normal thinking public for a very long time. RIP to the deceased and sincere condolences to their family and friends.

I read somewhere it is over 15 million + all the unknown and home made ones.

Thinking he lives in a violent society where he may have to defend himself from psychos with guns.

Seems to me the fearful ones who have guns to protect themselves are the ones we all need to be protected from.

All over a parking space!!

They can always throw in a 2nd amendment to the new constitution.
