Curry leaf plants

Featured Replies

Has anyone got a Curry Leaf plant? Or do you know of any outlet selling these plants.

I am trying to get a cutting or sapling to grow in my garden. Not far from Prasat, Suin province.

I have never heard of a curry plant. Perhaps one of the herbs and/or spices used to make curry.

It's a shrub but I've only seen them India. The leaves are used for flavor.

I don't think it's used in Thai cooking.

A curry tree perhaps. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curry_tree

The curry leaf plant is very popular in Malaysian cooking. I had a tree that I grew from a seed without any problem in Ubon. It grew to 2 metres and once it flowers and then seeds turn black you can pick them and grow more trees. Unfortunately I moved to another province and when returned to Ubon I had to leave the tree there as it was too big. Pick a handful of leaves and put into rice while cooking and the aroma is sensational.

If you travel down to Korat, you can pick some seedlings from me; on your way there.
