Ordering spare parts for smartphones inside Thailand

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to order spare parts for mobile phones, Lenovo to be specific, mail order from inside Thailand?

I need a new touchscreen and I can install it myself if I can just get the parts.
I am in Chiang Mai just in case anyone knows a stockist here.
I know a shop that will do it for me and I can get it from Aliexpress too but I'm trying to save some money by getting the part myself from Thailand.
Thanks in advance.

Well, I was going to say aliexpress, but you already said so. Have you tried Lazada.co.th? Now owned by them but some parts may come from within Thailand.

I ordered parts for my galaxy note 8.0 and installed the parts myself.

Go on to E bay buy direct from China easy and painless . Had 2 batteries come this month very prompt and efficient

They always lie about the cost on their customs dec, small stuff comes by regular mail.

Just to stay on point, I ask again "Anyone know where to order spare parts for mobile phones, Lenovo to be specific, mail order from inside Thailand?"

This is specifically what I want to know, it's why I made the post.

Perhaps someone reading this has experience in this area?

I don't think you can.

I had a Lenovo phone and gave up.

I got directed to Lenovo in Bangkok, and observed that they had no phones on display, only computers.

They admitted that despite the details on the Lenovo website they are actually a franchise,

They said I should contact China.

Even that proved difficult as they claimed they didn't have spare parts for a relatively new phone in China.....

I hope you get an answer. I just spent the day trying to find it myself after ordering a replacement battery from china, but now not sure it won't blow up before the new one comes. At this point I've resigned myself to likely having to buy a new phone anyway.

The guy in the phone repair shop checked online for the new part for my phone, he said it would take 2 days to get here, the price he quoted wouldn't have covered any expedited delivery from abroad so it had to be coming from inside Thailand.

Another repair guy said it would come from Bangkok but that was all he would tell me.
So I'll hold out a little while longer and if I'm lucky enough to find out their secret I will post it here.

I have some experience. The bottom line was that I had no luck getting a screen for a Samsung. Getting parts for a lessor used brand is likely impossible.

"Dr Smartphone" is a repair service, they don't sell spare parts to anybody.

They do sell parts. Just send an email and they will even give you tips on how to install it.

I have sent three emails to Dr. Smartphone and not one reply.

Dr Smartphone got back to me, they will normally be able to supply parts but in my case they have declined to because I berated them for not replying and they took offense!

(I feel like Moses, I found the promised land but I can't enter!)

Their supplier for replacement screens for phones, in Hong Kong I think

http://www.phonelcdwholesale.com/

It's wholesale so minimum order amount is $100

Just order the parts you need from ebay and be done with it.
