CHIANG MAI, 28 April 2016 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has assured the government intends to safeguard all groups of people with the goal to strengthen the general public and increase the quality of life.

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has chaired a meeting of the supporting and coordinating committee for royal projects at Royal Park Rajapruek, Chiang Mai Province.

The PM has said prior to the meeting, that the government will be pushing forward the public-government cooperation projects by implementing His Majesty the King’s development guidelines and the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as the main principles.

He said Thailand will be pushing for the development of the agricultural sector in keeping with the royal initiatives among other countries, as Thailand is the chair of the G77 countries this year. The government will be working to sustain the strength and happiness of all sides.

The Prime Minister will then witness the award granting ceremony for Mae Chaem District for being the best district to solve the haze issue, and the agricultural machinery granting ceremony to farmers of Hang Dong District, as well as the 22.5 million baht budget's distribution to various agricultural occupation development projects.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to survey how the haze mitigation project, under the Mae Chaem model, has affected the general public and the economy, before acknowledging the forest renovation campaign for sustainable development.

I must rush around the local villages and let the folks know that their lives are going to be 'strengthened' by using a 'Sufficiency Economy Philosophy ' as the main principle. I'm sure they will fully understand this and be ever joyful !!
