Android Phone Anti Virus (Oppo)

Featured Replies

I am not into phones much, I have been told I should have some software like on a PC to keep it clean.

Any opinions on this and suggestions?

Thanks

I would use Dr Web.

play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drweb&hl=en

It's not too bloated and does a good job.

I use a Nexus tablet running Android 5.11(Lollipop) I've tried many A/V products and have found 360 Security https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qihoo.security to be the best.

It also has Clean and Optimise functions which actually work, unlike some.

There are some ads but I don't find them too intrusive.

YMMV of course!

Forget all those so called antivirus its juts unnecessary, juts install CCleaner and then periodically (once 2 weeks or month juts start it up and run it.

Actually, I tried CCleaner and in my experience, 360's "clean" function does a better job. However, I do turn it off in "Apps" and just call it when the tablet starts to run slow, so essentially, I'm not monitoring all the time the way I do on my Windows kit.
