Diabetes Doctor in Ubon

Featured Replies

Things may have moved on and US experience may be more prone to specialisation than say the UK, but I thought that diabetes was such a prevalent disease that there is rarely a call for specialist consultants and that diabetics are normally treated by their general practitioner/(physician). That was certainly the case for my first wife (British) who was born with it and had many complications in her later life - I don't recall her having a specialist in the UK at the time, albeit she was referred to specialist eye and foot people at various times.

My wife has taken her father who suffers from late onset diabetes to Ubonrak and he had been given a path to follow by one of the general consulting doctors on their day surgery - that's not conclusive proof that there are no specialists for complications of course.
