Farang Size Motorcycle Jacket in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I'm visiting BKK this weekend. My first stop will be Dr Bike to buy a Shad top box.

Also on my wish list is a proper motorcycle jacket. It appears Dr Bike doesn't carry jackets.

Here's what I want. Mesh or textile. Quality brand. Light color. Will fit a tall ugly farang. Preferably normal looking, not track gear. Under 7,000 baht.

Can you guys recommend a shop that would carry something like this?

Paddock near to Huay Kwang MRT station (I think) stocks a range of vented textile jackets.

I've heard good reports on the Alpinestars one. Taichi also look OK. I have a Textport vented jacket - bit stiff and hot but well padded.

I found Panda Riders had a large variety in stock. I bought a Rev it mesh jacket and it's served me well.

Paddock x 1.

Bought an Alpine Stars one about 6 months ago - 7000baht i think, no issues to date.

Thanks.

I think I paid around 7k for my rev'it airforce jacket from Panda, thoroughly recommended - just avoid the white/black combo

Yeah paddock is good, overpriced but reasonable selection. Komine, Rev'it, Astars etc etc
