cockpit (do they change window wipers)

Featured Replies

Hi,

My window wipers the rubber is bad so id like them replaced. Now I have seen a cockpit near but before I stop I wonder if they do replace window wipers. Just making sure before I go there.

Why not change them yourself ? 5 minute job and as difficult as changing a light bulb.

Used cockpit myself last week to check out my suspension and steering assembly. The check was free but their opinion was wrong. Finaly found a more competent garage that not only found the correct faults but lifted the car up on hydraulic lift and showed me with my own eyes what the trouble was.

Just drive to the nearest Michelin tire shop. They have (Michelin) wipers. Good quality and not expensive.

I buy my wiper blades at BigC. 200B for regular rubber and 250B for silicone. I put one of each on a month ago in order to see if there would be any real difference over time. Given that the original set lasted nearly 4 years I may have a long wait!

I bought some at the local village shop and the guy started fitting them before I paid!

Most of those Blingy Car Shops outside Lotus still do Silicone re fits. I always remember after ive bout Peng Ones from Tyre Plus...sad.png
