Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 - in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Before I head out to hunt one down, does anyone know if this phone is available in Pattaya? And where, obviously.

I know they are available on Lazada - but my Zenfone died yesterday, so I want a new phone today.

(Please .... don't turn this thread into a "this phone is better than that phone" dialogue -- there are other threads for that, and I have checked some already and know what I want -- just answer the question, muchos thankings. :) )

According to the "XiaomiThailand" website, the Note 3 is not listed as officially imported. Lazada sells several variations between 8 & 10,000 baht but no mention of Warranty, just the usual 14 day return.

Gearbest lists the 3/32 Redmi Note 3 for $180 inc shipping, around B6000 so you'd be paying a significant premium buying from Lazada. I do understand you need it soon...just mentioning this for comparison. Their 4 to 7 day shipping is about $10

I was going to write a separate review until i saw this..

I brought one off Lazada the other day for 7200 and must say i cannot be happier, great phone at a great price.. I consider my a tech nerd to a point where Im always rooting, always trying to tweak to squeeze a few extras minutes out of the battery, not going to be necessary on this baby, will easily get a whole day on very heavy use and 2 days on medium use.. its even got alot of features as standard that you can only normally get with rooting (like deny app permissions).

Im not sure if they sell them in Pattaya but as an indication i went to a shop in Tucom to try and get a second case (it comes with a clear one) and they didn't have any so that itself is an indication they probably wont sell them but if not bite the bullet and wait the 7 days max (mine took 5) it will take to get here from Lazada because this is a 12k phone at 7k.

Thanks a lot for the replies - a great help.

I also have one. I got the 3/32g version for 7.995b on Lazada using a 500b Dtac discount code (free clear buffer case and glass screen protector). Loving it.. it's a lot faster than my old Lenovo K910L (snapdragon 800) and the GPS and signal strength is great. Oh and I received it in

2 days cash on delivery.

Did the OP manage to find one in Pattaya, if so what was the cost?

No I didn't, sadly. In the finish I settled on a Samsung Galaxy J-7 for 8,900 baht (16gn with 32gb chip.) from Big C Extra. So far I'm very happy with it.
