Back in May 2016, I obtained a Thai Driving License based on the international one.

Validity is 2 years and was told the next one would be 5 years.

My question is:

Do I have to keep my international driving license valid, comes renewal time?

The international one is valid for 1 year and will expire before the renewal time. Moreover, the DL from my country, on which the international one is based will expire this July 2016.

Do I have to keep all these licenses valid, or I can depend on the Thai from now on, as I am retired here?
